Dan Dunne began his dining career with Sodexo over 30 years ago, working for Saga, Marriott and now Sodexo. Currently he directs the strategic account development process– exploring new student programs, and long term strategic campus planning to deliver quality of life solutions.
Dan serves as a national ambassador to Sodexo Organization for disAbilities Resources (SOAR). Whose mission is to raise awareness, provide education and resources, and proactively provide outreach to create a culture that embraces, values, and fully utilizes persons with disabilities. He currently is mentoring a student via “Career Link Mentoring Program” (CLMP) and has learned that mentoring is certainly a two way street bringing value to both learning parties.
Dan’s goal with Sodexo is for SOAR to enrich the communities and clients served- sharing best practices for managers to work effectively with all people. Dan is a lifelong learner holding master degree in leadership studies, as well as degrees in hospitality and culinary arts. He and his wife Nancy currently reside in Florida and enjoy birding, kayaking and exploring the great outdoors.
