Danielle Fellguth is a fourth year student at University of California, Berkeley pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Legal Studies and a minor in Theater, Dance, and Performance Studies. Following graduation this upcoming year, she hopes to attend law school and obtain a JD degree in order to eventually practice Entertainment and Sports Law.
Danielle has experience in the disability advocacy, entertainment, and legal fields. On Berkeley’s campus, Danielle has worked as a Peer Mentor and Student Orientation Leader, focusing on helping students with disabilities become acclimated to Berkeley’s campus as well as its Disabled Students’ Program and informing students of the resources available to them. She has also been a Peer Mentor with California’s Youth Leadership Forum, where she taught a group of high school students with disabilities about disability and self-advocacy. Additionally, Danielle has co-founded OUTLAW, a queer pre-law organization that pairs undergraduate students with members of Berkeley Law’s Queer Caucus and helps students achieve their goal of getting into law school.
Throughout college, in addition to working in various theater and art spaces off campus, Danielle has interned with the Nation Center for Lesbian Rights, responding and providing resources to prisoners that are part of the LGBTQIA community. She has also worked as a Legasl Intern for California Lawyers for the Arts helping artists and creative communities obtain legal assistance. Danielle is also an active member on the Berkeley Student Cooperative (BSC) Administrative Committee.
In her free time, Danielle enjoying writing plays, acting, and watching Giants baseball. She also enjoys spending time with friends and siblings from both her co-ed fraternity, Phi Alpha Delta, and sorority, Gamma Rho Lambda.
