Emily Sylling is a Lead Deployment Specialist on Booz Allen’s Diversity & Inclusion Team where she manages the LGBT and disability work streams. In this position, Emily collaborates with LGBT and disability diversity leadership teams and ERGs to recruit, develop, engage and enable LGBT+ staff and individuals with disabilities. Emily manages and leverages Booz Allen’s LGBT and disability external partnerships, and collaborates with colleagues across the firm to design and implement high-visibility events and programs. Her secondary roles include advising seven additional ERGs, 35+ local employee engagement programs, and market teams on their D&I activities.
Prior to joining the D&I team, Emily was a member of Booz Allen’s internal talent management team for 2.5 years, working to fill open positions and identifying new opportunities for available staff. Emily previously spent 10 years supporting Booz Allen’s clients. Emily’s background includes project management, talent management, business process reengineering, change management, strategic communications and strategic planning.
Emily holds a BA from the University of Richmond and lives in the Seattle area with her spouse, daughter and two Golden Retrievers.
