Ja’Nesha Murphy is a junior at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She is currently pursuing a BSBA in Entrepreneurship with a minor in International Business. She plans to use her degree to learn the responsibilities of a business owner so that she can work towards opening a spa with a creative twist. Her overall goal is to help reduce the stress levels of individuals all over the world by allowing them to unwind in a peaceful and unique environment.
Ja’Nesha currently works at the Nevada Blind Children’s Foundation as a Teen Coordinator where she assists with organizing monthly meetings for blind and visually impaired youth. She also volunteers for the National Federation of the Blind’s Las Vegas and Henderson Chapters and she enjoys taking part in events that educate the public about blindness. She is proficient in literary and Nemeth Braille code. Her hobbies include caring for her five-year-old guide dog Ethel, studying Braille music, studying Spanish, staying fit, and learning about assistive technology.
