Janice D. Little was named chief diversity officer in 2017. She is responsible for leading the organization’s global diversity and inclusion strategy, working closely with leaders across the enterprise to expand and develop programs that serve to cultivate an inclusive culture.
Little has more than 10 years of human resources and diversity and inclusion experience. Prior to joining Lowe’s, she served as vice president, diversity and inclusion, chief diversity officer for McKesson Corp. She also held several HR leadership roles during her tenure at Dell. Before transitioning into HR, Janice experienced an extended and successful career in finance and accounting with Dell, IBM Corp. and Ernst & Young.
Janice earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and an MBA in finance and management from the University of Texas in Austin. She is an active member of the Executive Leadership Council, current board member of the U.S. Business Leader Network and an advisory board member for Linkage’s Women in Leadership Institute. In 2016, she was named one of Black Enterprise’s Top Executives in Corporate Diversity
