Jennifer Lindal leads the Systems Change Management KC-46 Aerial Refueling Tanker. She is also the current Vice President of the Puget Sound chapter of the Boeing Employees Ability Awareness Association, BEAAA.
Jenn first joined The Boeing Company while still in high school as a summer intern leading to her first full-time position as an Aircraft Electrical Installer. After working on all twin-aisle programs in Everett, she transitioned to Manufacturing Engineering. She was a charter board member to the 747/767/777 Systems Employees Engagement Team. Her current position in Change Management resulted from her Engagement Team efforts and relationships she created while on the team. Jenn has learned the importance of networking, setting goals, open communication with peers and management, continued career conversations and the importance of ‘right sized’ mentoring.
Jenn has recently accepted the position of Team Lead for the newly created Electrical Corrective Action Team. This team is the first to fully support both legacy and developmental airplane programs. This new challenge will require the team to pool diverse abilities in order to accomplish this new approach in an environment of cost and schedule reductions.
Throughout Jenn’s 18 year career at Boeing, she has expanded her community involvement both personally and professionally. She and her husband, Andy, actively support Bloodworks Northwest, in memory of their beloved 8 year old daughter, Gracie. She has hosted, organized and sponsored several For the Love of Gracie 5K events, providing financial support to the Platelet Disorder Support Association PDSA (over $30,000). Through these events and the use of social media, Jenn has been able to spread awareness and personal support to those fighting the rare bleeding disease Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic purpura, ITP. Jenn and Andy are also the proud parents of two boys, ages 19 & 14.
