John Barry is Operations Manager at Florida Blue. In this position, he is responsible for the leading the State of Florida’s Employee and Retiree Administrative Services Only plan. He has been employed by Florida Blue for nearly 19 years and has served in the U.S. Army for 31 years and is currently a 75th Training Command Branch Sergeant Major in West Palm Beach.
Mr. Barry is a strong advocate for increasing employment opportunities for Persons with a Disability and is the Chair of possAbilities at Florida Blue; an Employee Resource Group whose Vision is to “… support Florida Blue in creating and sustaining an inclusive and supportive environment that empowers individuals with disabilities to be productive and achieve their full potential internally and externally in the community.” He has been a board member of the First Coast BLN since May of 2015.
