Robin A. Jones

Robin Jones, MPA is the Principal Investigator and Project Director of the Great Lakes ADA Center, a member of the ADA National Network. The Center is located at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Robin has served as the director of the Center since its inception in 1991. The ADA National Network is comprised of 10 regional Centers that provide information, guidance and training on the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Services are tailored to meet the needs of business, government and individuals at local, regional and national levels. Robin’s academic preparation includes degrees in Public Administration and Occupational Therapy.

She is an instructor within the Department of Disability and Human Development teaching courses in disability policy, community integration and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.

Robin is actively involved in providing training, consultation and technical assistance on the provisions of the ADA and related laws to business, employers, government and educational entities, architects, social service organizations and people with disabilities and their families. Robin serves as co-chairperson of the Illinois Task Force on Employment and Economic Opportunity for Persons with Disabilities’ and a member of the ADA 25 Legacy Council and the ADA25 Chicago Steering Committee. Most recently, Robin has been serving as a member of the organizing committee for the newly re-established Chicagoland Business Leadership Network.
