Andrea Elliott

Andrea Elliott moved from the UK to the US in 1999 after working at Huddersfield University in the Finance Department for 8 years. She has a B.A. in Business and Finance, is a professionally qualified accountant and has an M.A. in Disability Studies from Leeds University. She has Dystonia and cannot walk unaided or talk. Before leaving the UK she was a member the Disabilities Committee at Huddersfield University and was taking her MA in Disability Studies when the Disability Discrimination Act was becoming law.

After moving to the US she continued to advocate for people with Disabilities by becoming the Vice President of the Disability BRG at U.S. Bank. This is a newly formed group and she looks forward to learning from other members of the Leadership Committee, about best practices for onboarding and retaining people with disabilities.
